Mary is survived by her seven loving children, Denise (William) Sokolowski, John (Debra) Moore, Kathleen (David) Fitts, Jeannine (Joseph) Oliverei, Colleen (Bud) Roblyer, Cheryl (Paul) Granger and Dr. Mary enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting, bowling, fishing, gardening, music and family vacations. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and choir. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella Regina Coeli Circle Davison #1095, St. Mary retired as a school teacher from Bentley Community Schools (Barhitte Elementary) after 31 years of service. She started her teaching career in Detroit and Bendle Public Schools. ![]() Mary earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Wayne University College (Wayne State University) in 1953. She married Kenneth Moore on Octoin Detroit, MI and he preceded her in death in 1986. Mary was born in Detroit, MI on May 1,1930, daughter of the late John and Lottie (Holly) Jaroh. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, in Mary’s memory. Thursday, Augat Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423 and 11 a.m.-12 p.m. The family will receive visitors 4-7 p.m. Interment immediately following the Mass in Davison Cemetery.
